Mr. Mower Man strongly recommends that you give your outdoor power equipment preventive maintenance at regular intervals. Most of the time, this means yearly. Furthermore, we recommend this be done in the fall before winter storage, rather than waiting until spring. However, for equipment that is used commercially or in other demanding or dirty conditions, this should be done more often. Regular preventive maintenance prolongs the life of your outdoor power equipment and allows the equipment to give you optimum performance.
We suggest that you allow Mr. Mower Man to perform this service on your outdoor power equipment. This will ensure that your equipment is properly maintained, and it gives us the opportunity to inspect your equipment for problems that will lead to equipment damage and/or failure if not caught and addressed early.
You'll notice that Mr. Mower Man offers a full service package and a basic service package on many types of equipment. The full service is a bumper to bumper, fine-toothed inspection that is designed to catch any and every aspect of the equipment that isn't up to snuff. Honestly, this doesn't usually need to be done every year, but only every couple of years on most equipment. In the off years, we recommend the more affordable basic service, which targets just the essentials and inspections of the things that will most likey lead to an untimely breakdown in the middle of the season (like a cracked belt or a spindle with dry bearings). But regardless of our recommendations, you get which ever service package you want.
